Fibromyalgia Exercise: Just About The Best Remedy Available

Fibromyalgia exercises have been established to be just about the best way to
manage this condition. Fibromyalgia syndrome, or FMS, is a chronic disorder that causes pain in your muscles and
joints and it is characterized by widespread musculo-skeletal pain, fatigue, stiffness in the joints, multiple
tender points and interrupted sleep. It's cause is still relatively unknown, but there is a school of thought that
says one such cause is a hereditary gene. Research also suggests that fibromyalgia, is related to faulty sensory
processing in the nervous system of the body. One thing that is for sure, however, is that both genetics and
environmental factors play a role in its development.
Fibromyalgia is most common in women between the ages of 20 and 50, although it also affects
men, the elderly, and children. The best treatment for fibromyalgia has been established to be exercises,
especially regular, low intensity aerobic exercises. Some such helpful fibromyalgia
exercises are:
1. Swimming or hydro therapy exercise. Yoga exercises have also been discovered to be good and
can improve sleep and decrease symptoms of fibromyalgia.
